Day One

ESJ are off once more, 22 amazing students and three happy staff, left the chilly climes of Essex for, the even chillier, Berlin and Krakow.
Wizzed through security to a hitch free departure from Stansted. Only one boarding pass left behind at security! ...we are getting quite good at this trip lark!
So today the plan is, drop bags a hotel and off to first venue, The Topography of Terror, which is an exhibition of the of the role of the secret police, Gestapo and the systems of control under the Nazi regime.
After this we will have our evening meal, then off to bowling. The topography of Terror was quite intense but it was great to see them reacting to what they saw and showing such sensitivity. Some even remembered covering some issues in class! Yay go us teachy-teachersons! And then to bowling..."OMG, mega lols guy!" (That is a direct quote, think it means they enjoyed it!) 😀 Ashdon and Cameron really enjoyed the retro tunes, 🕺 ...disco bowling! Certainly had the moves!
There were some very tired bunnies returning to our hotel, ...it's almost as if we planed to wear them out. Tired but happy and all looking forward to an even more amazing day tomorrow!
