Day two ...onwards.
Another early start, and not too many complaints, surprisingly! After a very nice continental breakfast we set off on a guided tour of Berlin.
"Why have they got cheese and meat, who has cheese and meat for breakfast?" You can take the girl out of Essex...😂

Our tour was so extensive, taking in iconic landmarks, links to our GCSE course, turning points in German History, our guide was so knowledgable. Despite the cold, our students were attentive and demonstrated a not too shabby recall of knowledge when prompted, impressing our guide #proudteachermoment
After refuelling we had some time to take photos at Checkpoint Charlie, then off to the Jewish Museum. This place was so interesting even the building told a story.
However apparently the highlight of the day was our stop off at Lidle, 😂😂😂
#cantwinthemall!
With some of our charges armed to the teeth with 'road snacks' and full from our meal at 'Route 66' restaurant we headed back to our hotel to meet our coach for Krakow.
Weather wise, I've been reliably informed by the most observant of our group that it's '..really,really cold here', ...-3 to be precise, who knew? 😂❄️
Quote of the day: "swans aren't birds, the can't fly!"
